Blue Mountain Pony Club was established in 2008. We meet weekly in the summer months with riding instruction geared to the members' abilities.

From the fall, through the winter and into spring, we meet twice a month, focusing on stable management, horse care, first aid and general knowledge, often with specialized speakers.

Most of our members participate at the Regional level at Quiz, a non-riding competitive event which is a test of knowledge. Some of our members also participate in Rally, a horse trial which includes dressage, cross-country and stadium jumping, and at Le Trec, which is orienteering on horseback, as well as at the Prince Phillip Games, and also at Dressage, Showjumping and Tetrathlon (which is running/shooting/swimming/riding).

We wind up the year with our annual Christmas Party to celebrate our seasonal successes.

Membership fees for 2025 are as follows:

1. Branch fee: $60 for renewing members with a special rate of $50 for second and subsequent children in the same family; $85 for new members (includes CPC pin and crest), with $75 for second and subsequent children in the same family.

2. Plus the Regional/National fees of $130 per child ($120 for additional sibling).

3. Plus the Ontario Equestrian Membership cost for 2025.
